Bistrița School
is a group of writers based around the cities Bistrița and Sîngeorz-Băi and developed in the late 1990's and the early 2000's. The collective volume Camera (1995) was published by Iustin Panța and marked the debut of most of them, whom debuted individually, however, much later. Dan Coman is regarded as one of the key poets of the 2000's generation, while Marin Mălaicu-Hondrari is known as the editorial director of the prestigious publishing house Charmides led by Gavril Țărmure.
