Marius Ianuș (b. Marius-Christian Drajan on 24 December 1975, Brașov) is a Romanian poet, short story writer and journalist.

They are three directions in the poetry of Marius Ianuș : Fracturism (Volumes: Anarchist Manifesto and others fractures, 2000, Toilet Paper preceded by the First Poems, 2004, The Smurfs out of the factory!, 2007), Balcanism Oniric (Volumes: The Bear in the Bin - a movie featuring myself, 2002, Madoff's Sonata and Other Politically Incorrect Poems, 2021, Sonata of the Brazi Oil Refinery and Other Outrageous Poems, 2023) an Traditionalism (Volumes: Mom, will you come ?! Spiritual Flowers for the Mother of God, 2013, Flowers of Fire, Thought and Light, 2014, The Achatist of the Way of Father Arsenie Boca, 2014, Poems from The Light Newspaper, 2023).

His debut is in the 2000 volume Manifest anarhist și alte fracturi (Anarchist Manifesto and Other Fractures); 2000's generation was already mentioned on the front cover, although only a few years later Marin Mincu would establish the new generation.

Together with Dumitru Crudu, he published the manifesto of fracturism, in 1998, that was a delimitation of his poetry from the '80 Generation poetry.

He frequented The Military College Dimitrie Cantemir form Breaza literary's circle, in the 1990 years, and then the Mircea Cărtărescu's literary circle (which he has later renamed into "Abator Fracturi") and published several poems in Ferestre '98 ("Windows '98", 1998).

With this and several other books (hârtie igienică, Mamijuana, ursul din containăr, the anthology dansează ianuș, Ștrumfii afară din fabrică!), Ianuș made his mark as the most important poet of the 2000's generation, but in 2010 decided to turn to Christianity and deleted all of his previous books (that he rejected as being "pornographic" and "unholy), as well as his old blog and Hyperliteratura's collectif blog.

He has since published many books of religious and nationalist poems, The first is Refuz fularul alb! (I Refuse the White Scarf!; reference to the white scarf that George Vasilievici used to kill himself), and a several volumes of short stories, O noapte și o dimineață (One Night and One Day) is the first Ianuș's prose volume. The two are also partially renegate.

Later, from 2015, the critics that has considerate him the best poet of his generation has put a Far Right label on him, as being legionary, and try to discredited him.

Marius Ianuș is the biggest hell-raiser in Romanian literature, a writer who managed to pick a fight with every contemporary writer. He quarrelled with everyone, including his friends or literary companions, and so, almost everyone turned their backs on him, leaving him a very lonesome man indeed. He even picked on street hoodlums, which led to the birth of Fracturism—the most important literary trend in post-communist years. It so happens I was with him the night he wanted to intimidate lowlife scum in Brașov and we both got beat up. We wanted to write a complaint to the police and instead we wrote a manifesto. The Fracturist manifesto. Picking an argument is in fact the engine of his poetry. His poetry is a continuous quarrel with society, with the world, with the city, with history, with the past, with the present, with everyday life, with metaphysics, with himself, eventually. But while in life he has only lost, in poetry he has continuously gained. The uglier Ianuș’s life, the more brilliant his poetry. Probably because he sensed this, Ianuș gave up poetry for a while, and I wonder, did it make him any happier. At the end of the 1990s, we founded Fracturism together, and next thing I know Ianuș promptly starts a grim war against me. However, I can't help but admit that the poetry written by Marius Ianuș is simply the best that’s been created in Romanian poetry since 2000.” Dumitru Crudu
