Ion Mureșan (b. 9 January 1955, Vultureni, Cluj) is a contemporary Romanian poet associated with the 1980s generation, textualism, neo-expressionism and the group around Cluj-based magazine Echinox. He is considered by critics one of the most significant contemporary poets; his latest book, cartea Alcool (the Alcohol book, 2010), received several awards and received rave reviews from critics.
